Our equine vets Kate Rapley and Kathryn Penn, hold the necessary Official Veterinarian (OV) qualifications to carry out equine exports from the UK to all parts of the world. As such, they are able to carry out all required pre-export tests and certification to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of horses out of the country.

We advise any client wishing to export their horse, pony, or donkey, to contact the practice as far in advance of travel dates as possible to discuss the necessary steps with either Kate or Kathryn.
On the 31st of October 2019, new requirements for transporting horses to the EU came into effect where further blood testing, isolation, and residency requirements must be met.
