Penn Equine Vets is a small independent practice striving to provide bespoke, personal veterinary care. We have over 30 years of experience treating exclusively equines ranging from advanced sports horses to pet ponies. We are all horse owners and empathise with the pressures and strains of caring for our equine friends through the tough times. The practice is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to provide a wide range of stable side services including x-rays, ultrasound, endoscopy, laser surgery and advanced dentistry.

A little bit of history
Penn Equine Vets was established in 2023 with the core of the practice formed by the demerge of the equine department from Garston Vet Group in Frome. We have created a new base for ourselves at Frome Market Place in Standerwick and from here spread our wings. Our experienced vets, Kathryn and Kate have over 30 years of equine vetting between them so there’s not much we haven’t seen.
